1. Data We Collect
When you use Jemind, we collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, business name, and the text inputs you submit to generate content. We also automatically collect certain technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and usage patterns to improve our service. We do not collect payment card information directly — all payments are processed securely by PayPal.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and improve the Jemind service, including processing your AI generation requests, managing your account and subscription, and sending important service notifications. We may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve our AI models and service quality. We will never sell your personal data to third parties or use it for targeted advertising without your explicit consent.
3. Data Storage (Supabase)
Your account data, profile information, and generation history are stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database infrastructure provider. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant and stores data on AWS infrastructure. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@jemind.com.
4. Third-Party Services
Jemind integrates with the following third-party services to operate: Supabase (authentication and database), Cloudflare Workers AI (text generation processing), PayPal (payment processing), and Vercel (hosting infrastructure). Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data handling practices. We only share the minimum data necessary with each provider to deliver our service.
5. Cookies
Jemind uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. These are strictly necessary for the service to function. We use session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain until you clear them or they expire). We do not use advertising cookies or sell cookie data to any third party. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to use the service.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): the right to access your personal data, the right to correct inaccurate data, the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Data Transfers
Jemind operates globally and your data may be transferred to and stored in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. When we transfer data from the EEA to countries that are not deemed to have adequate data protection laws, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to protect your information.
8. Children's Privacy
Jemind is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
